Introduction to K9™ Nosework, with Mira Jones

Mira Jones, a certified K9 Nose Work™ Instructor,  Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and IAABC Certified Dog Behavior Consultant with over 17 years’ experience, will be at GCOC June 2, 2013 1:00-3:00. Mira will hold a workshop introducing interested club members to the sport ofK9 Nose Work™.  Although the club has had presentations and workshops about tracking, K9 Nosework™ is a different sport that can be taught indoors.  It is a titling sport, sanctioned by the National Association of Canine Nosework .  This event will be a demonstration, human attendees only.  It is intended to introduce club members to the sport and gauge the level of interest in bringing a full two day workshop to the club.  More information is available at http://nacsw.net   The sport of K9 Nosework™ was featured recently in “The Bark” magazine, http://www.nacsw.net/sites/default/files/file/Bark60_Nosework.pdf
