Train the Trainer

Are you interested in learning more about training? The best way to learn is to teach!

Train the trainer is designed to teach you about the curriculum and structure for the public classes. It is also designed to teach you about classroom management, as well as various ways to teach concepts/skills. In return, you generously agree to assist with teaching at least one class within the next year.

This program Is a mix of lecture and working. Two of the sessions are lectures and activities for humans. The other two sessions are lectures and activities for humans and humans/dogs. There are 10 working spaces for dogs (must be a club member to have a working dog, first come/first served). There are unlimited spaces for humans only. You will still benefit greatly from the program even without a dog.

This free program will take place all day on Saturday, Sept 20. It will run from 8:30 – 4:15 pm, with lunch provided. If you are unable to attend for the full day, please contact Nicole Tate (gcoctd@gmail.com).
