Welcome to an Introduction to trick training

Would you like to get out of the house and do something fun with your dog?

Do not look any further! GCOC is offering a class that is fun and empowering for both you and your dog.

Trick training isn’t just about learning cool tricks to show off.  There are

many benefits of teaching your dog tricks.  Some of these include:

1)  It can improve your relationship with your dog, as well as help with your dog’s focus and engagement.

2)  Trick training is also great way to tire a dog out mentally. For example, did you know

using their brain for twenty minutes equals to one hour of dog walking?

3)  Another benefit is physical exercise. Many tricks help build muscle  tone,

stamina, flexibility, balance and concentration.

4)  If you have a dog that is nervous or anxious, it can build their confidence and give them a sense of achievement.

5)  Increasing a dog's learning ability.  The more tricks that you teach a dog, the quicker the dog can learn new things.

Now that you know the benefits of trick training, bring some tasty and delicious treats and lets have fun with our dogs doing some circus tricks.

Instructor: Wanda Austin, Brandy Dunaway
