Engagement Facilitated Practice

This class is a one-night engagement practice class. It is designed for handlers and dogs who have completed Engagement 1 or Engagement 2 classes to continue practicing engagement skills with instructors. Instruction material will vary based on the needs of the class participants.

Please note, the instruction format will remain the same as Engagement 1 and 2. When you and your dog are not working, you are asked to watch and learn from other dog-handler teams. Crating is required. Space will be available for indoor crating, or you may secure your dog in your vehicle. Due to high demand, this class has prerequisites and enrollment is limited.

The mission of GCOC is to teach the handler successful methods of training which will result in a lifelong bond with their dog. Our goal is to provide a safe environment that will encourage this learning process.  GCOC does reserve the right to excuse any dog who is disruptive or whose learning threshold has been exceeded.
