Introduction to Nosework Wednesdays - 7:30

This class will introduce your dogs to odor and help to develop a trained alert with duration. The goal of this class is a reliable, easy-to-read alert and obedience to odor. This class will not create a dog that is prepared to trial immediately.

Prerequisite: The dog must have Basic Skills or permission from instructor. 

Although this is an introduction class, it is not for dogs who have not had experience in classes.  Dogs need to understand clickers and/or marker words, and have a good start on impulse control.

HANDLERS MUST BRING CRATES TO THIS CLASS.  WHEN DOGS ARE NOT WORKING THEY MUST BE IN A CRATE.  

This class is for GCOC members. 

A Scentwork Kit will be provided to each registrant.

NOTE:  GCOC follows CDC guidelines. At this time masks are not required, but masks will return as needed.  Masks may be required by instructors and you will be notified if that is the case.
