From the March Meeting

This isn't intended to replace the minutes of the meeting but I just want to share some of the things you missed.  Thank you, Katie for the idea.

First! Robbie's delicious cooking!  Thanks to both Robbie and Mary for bringing us such scrumptious fare for a club meeting!

Next, Tracy Seiler gave us a tour of some features on the website that she discovered or added. Check out the Honor Roll, and then send updates and new postings to Tracy.

Want to get more involved? Click here:  GCOC Committees  Then send an e-mail to the chair of the committee if you would like to help.

There are 3, yes, 3 agility trials in April!  Agility Trials and Matches

We are testing a method of creating, approving and revising club polices, standing rules, and standard operating procedures. See--we don't even know what the heck to call them.  Finding out how things work with GCOC can be very tough! So, please go here Policies and Procedures under Discussion

and comment on the blog or send your comments to me in an e-mail.

And last, check out our progress on the building purchase. GCOC Building 2016

I know there are lots of links in this blog but one of my goals for the club is improved communication.  I want to make it easier for club members to find out what is going on and more importantly, how you can get involved.

Check out the links to stay informed, to share your wisdom, and to volunteer. Thanks for reading this!   Peggy

I like this idea a lot too! Since my life recently got a whole lot more complicated, having a place to easily keep up with what's going on at GCOC is wonderful.

And Peggy, will you please pass on my heartfelt THANK YOU for the lovely card? It means so very much to me to have you all at my back, as it were - I really can't thank you enough. I hope to be able to get involved again sooner rather than later, but its still a waiting game at this point. David's doing well, he's at Carolinas Rehab in Charlotte for some intensive inpatient therapy. He's bored silly and wants to get out and back to his own life, and the prognosis is pretty good, all things considered. The docs are speaking in months, not years, so that at least is hopeful!

Again, thank you all and I hope I can sneak away and check out the building!

    xo Sarah

We have all been keeping you and David in our thoughts. Tell him to keep up the good work and if you need anything, please don't hesitate to let us know.
