Tunnel, Climb, Smell a Rat

An introduction to Barn Hunt for handlers or dogs who have had no experience with the sport.

This introduction is designed for exhibitor's dogs who have never attended a class or participated in Barn Hunt

It will focus on the following:

1.Review of basic rules

2.Getting dogs comfortable going through a novice tunnel

3.Willingly climb onto a straw bale

4.Introducing dogs to rats

Cost: $20 for GCOC members

$25 for non-members

Please do not register any dog that has had previous barn hunt lessons, clinics, or has participated in barn hunt trials.

Those who have already signed up for the March 12th Fun Trial or are on the wait list and planning to sign up for the March 13th Fun Trail as soon as it is approved will have the first opportunity to sign up for this Introduction. They will receive a code to register. Introduction will be opened to others who want to attend with dogs who have never attended a class or participated in Barn Hunt on 1/11/2022.
