Novice Competition Preparation
This class is designed as a final tune-up for competing in a Novice trial. You should have near mastery of all the Novice exercises. This is a proofing class that will focus on helping you and your team build confidence in the ring. You will work on protocols for entering the ring and transitioning between exercises, learn effective handling to help guide and support your dog, and be ready for competition at the Novice level.
Prerequisite: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Skills Class or Instructor's permission.
The mission of GCOC is to teach the handler successful methods of training which will result in a lifelong bond with their dog. Our goal is to provide a safe environment that will encourage this learning process. GCOC does reserve the right to excuse any dog who is disruptive or whose learning threshold has been exceeded.

NOTE: After studying the data related to the Delta COVID Variant the CDC has updated the Mask Recommendations. The most current statement is "Everyone in areas of substantial transmission to wear a mask in public indoor places, even if they are fully vaccinated."
Please bring your own mask and plan to wear it in class.
